Whose equipment can you support?
We have experience at some level with most of the major brands of semiconductor tools. But unless we are confident that we can support your particular equipment to our own standard excellence we will decline the work. Please contact us so we can discuss your requirements.
AM Technical Solutions has direct contracts with several OEMs to provide authorized service for their equipment. In those cases, our services are available only through the OEM.
What level of support can you provide?
We provide technicians and engineers to meet the requirements of the service. Their capabilities range from routine maintenance to level three field engineers.
We customize our service to your needs. We can provide 24x7 service on weekdays, weekends, holidays, as well as on on-call coverage. The duration can range from several days to several years. Tell us what you need and we will customize a service package for you.
What about parts and warranty?
We find it works best logistically and economically if our customers obtain parts for their own specific equipment.
Since we are not an OEM, we cannot provide a true “OEM Warranty,” but we do guarantee that our employees’ background, training, experience, and performance will meet or exceed what we have promised you.
How does quality of your service compare with the OEM?
We typically exceed an OEM’s quality of service. First, the experience of our engineers usually extends beyond a single tool or platform. Second, because of the breadth of their experience in various disciplines, our engineers understand the operation of the whole fab not just the tool they are working on. Unlike the tunnel-vision of a typical OEM specialist, they know how the tool and processes fit into the whole operation of the fab. You will see from our customers’ commendations that our engineers contribute to far more to the success of the mission than just doing an excellent job on a particular tool. Our goal is not just the installation of the tool, it is the success of your mission. This is one of the reasons that OEMs contact with us and rave about our service.
